Lot #11 - Fred - 2018 Registered QH Gelding
Skipper Cool Beau, known as "Fred" is a 2018 red roan who stands a little over 14 hands. Don't let his color fool you, in the summer Fred slicks out to be a beautiful Sorrel color and, in the winter, that is where the roan shows through. Just like his color, Fred is a very special horse and one of our favorites around here. I have had the privilege to ride and train on this horse for the past 3 years. He is one of the easiest going horses that I have ever had.
Some of his specialties are he is very easy to catch and saddle. In fact, he will meet you at the gate and practically beg you to ride him. You can lay Fred off for 6 months or so and get back on like nothing has changed.
Fred has spent most of his life being a phenomenal cowboy horse. He is an absolute pleasure to ride. He is light on his feet and knows his job when a cow is in front of him. He has been in the feedlot, out in the mountains pushing cows, and even to hunting camp! Fred is great in the branding pen or in any tight situation. Nothing really bothers him. He is also a great babysitter. He will go at your pace and is always willing to please.
If you are looking for a horse that is enjoyable to ride and will take care of you. This might be your guy!
